Starting approx. 1 p.m. on Tuesday, November 15th until about 5 p.m. on Wednesday, November 16th, XMission's Generators will be offline due to some maintenance of the power infrastructure. XMission expects no issues to arise, but there will be a risk of an outage if Rocky Mountain Power has an outage within this window. Our UPS system will be online so brownouts will be mitigated.

Tonight at 11pm we were made aware that at the data-center hosting XMission's Cross Connection to Lehi's fiber network, there were unintended side effects of power maintenance. Technicians are on site working to complete the maintenance and stabilize the connection.

At 2am the restore was completed. Services should not be properly operational.

XMission has scheduled a maintenance window between 12:00 a.m. and 6 a.m. on the morning of Sunday, November 3rd to perform maintenance on our networking infrastructure. We plan to complete the ongoing migrations to our new core router (a Juniper MX304) which began earlier this year. Our Colocation and web hosting customers will be moved, which should only cause a momentary outage but could last longer. During the migration we will also reboot a switch that services some Colocation customers which will cause an outage (15-60 minutes), depending on how things go.

XMission has scheduled a routine maintenance window between 6:00 p.m. and midnight on Friday, October 25th to perform maintenance on our Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) infrastructure. No issues are expected and we will run our backup generators to better ensure the facility has stable power the entire time.

Ignacio Update: Fiber is currently being spliced and we are expecting it to be resolved within the hour

Lehi Fiber is performing firmware upgrades on fiber devices across their network in Lehi which will result in a loss of connection for customers lasting about 5 to 10 minutes, occurring two to three times during the maintenance window of 12AM to 4AM, October 23rd, 2024
