Rocky Mountain Power is performing scheduled maintenance in some parts of the Layton area: START: 10/17/2021 09:00 am FINISH: 10/17/2021 02:00 pm 5:54pm edit: Rocky Mountain Power has updated completion time from the initial 2pm estimate to "assessing". Crews still on site.

DESCRIPTION: Due to UDOT widening US-89 at Cherry Lane in Layton Utah, UTOPIA will be relocating the some fiber.

MAINTENANCE START TIME: Wednesday, October 15, 2021. 12:00 a.m. MDT

MAINTENANCE STOP TIME: Wednesday, October 15, 2021. 6:00 a.m. MDT

Please note this is a reschedule of earlier planned maintenance. Affected customers may expect to be down for the duration of the maintenance window.

Maintenance from 12 AM - 6 AM.

(UPDATE: this expected reboot was staved off through other recovery efforts)

XMission's legacy router for UTOPIA services is exhibiting problems that require an emergency reboot. All affected customers will experience downtime and may need to power cycle their routers in order to reconnect.

Please note that nearly half of our UTOPIA customers, including all Enterprise and many SMB customers, have been moved off this old router already. The rest have been scheduled for migration within the next too weeks. These customers are not impacted by this issue.

UTOPIA is planning an emergency maintenance for Thursday, Oct 7, 2021. UTOPIA fiber needs to be relocated to accommodate UDOT extending Legacy Highway out west to Syracuse.

MAINTENANCE START TIME: 10/07/2021 12 a.m. MDT

MAINTENANCE END TIME: 10/07/2021 6 a.m. MDT

All customers in the following cities can expect to be down for 3 to 4 hours during this maintenance.
