Expected 15 minutes downtime. Customers will experience little impact

A Rocky Mountain Power outage is affecting 255 UTOPIA customers in Lindon & Orem. Repair crews are onsite.

We think we have isolated the problem, however please restart if you haven't yet

We are aware of an outage that is affecting UTOPIA customers using DHCP. We are actively working on getting our DHCP server operational.

The SLIX switches at Delong & Social Hall will have their back-hauls rerouted through new connections. There will be an interruption of service between switches, but not between peers on the same switch. The interruptions should be momentary as the VLAN reroutes and mac-tables repopulate.

We will be installing updates on our XMission Voice Software on Monday, March 29, 2021 at 1 am. We do not expect any customer facing impact during this maintenance window. If any there are any active calls, they should reconnect to our redundant server.

DESCRIPTION:

UTOPIA will be performing an emergency reboot on our switch stack in the OR013 footprint.

SCOPE OF IMPACT:

All customers connected to the switch will experience an outage lasting several minutes while the switch stack reboots.

03/20/2021 5:00 a.m.

We are aware of issues affecting all email customers. Admins are currently working to bring services back to 100%

Starting at 14:33, we lost our connection to the Seattle Interent eXchange. We are currently investigating the cause, and in the meantime are routing traffic through our other upstream transport connections to minimize impact to customers. ETA still being determined
