UTOPIA Network Outage Possible fiber cut affecting 47 customers on OR033.
Tech has been dispatched.

UPDATES: 08/12/2025 11:57 PM MDT - Field service found the fiber cut. Crews are being dispatched to work on repair. NO ETR yet.

08/13/2025 01:41 AM MDT - Crews found the fiber damage is under a driveway/sidewalk. To repair, we will need to saw cut and remove concrete which will be too noisy for a residential neighborhood at night. Crews will begin work after sunup and hopefully begin splicing around noon. The current ETR is 4:00 P.M.

UTOPIA has been alerted to an outage in the XMission Fiber Customers in Brigham, UT. Field Services are in transit to the site. Updates will be sent as we know more information. Thank you for your patience.

UPDATE Regarding Brigham City outage: 08/08/2025 04:11 PM MDT - More damage was discovered once our techs got onsite. The new ETR is 3AM.

UPDATE: This outage is due to a fiber cut. Field Services are working on resolving the issue. ETR: New ETR 3 A.M.

UPDATE: UTOPIA has confirmed services have been restored as of 8:57am. If still having connection issues, we recommend a power cycle of your personal router.

UTOPIA has informed us of an outage affecting XMission Fiber customers in Pleasant Grove.

UTOPIA has made us aware of outage affecting customers in Centerville - no further information is available at this time. We will keep you updated as we get more info.

From 10:55 AM to 12:30 PM, outbound email was unavailable and inbound mail experienced delays on our shared Zimbra platform. An automated internal config change disrupted mail server access to authentication services. The issue has been resolved and full functionality restored.

An automated change by a Zimbra service disconnected all ongoing database connections internally on the Zimbra cluster. Our Mail Admins are working diligently to rollback the changes. Mail is being queued, and will deliver once resolved. No loss of data is expected.
