09/30/2026 07:03 PM MDT - Temperature levels are back to normal, the switch is back up and service is restored to customers.

Scheduled electrical maintenance is being performed today (Monday, September 28th) in preparation for scheduled maintenance that will happen on Monday, October 5th. Today's work will enable us to safely test part of the electrical infrastructure by isolating it. No issues are expected during this work.

We've been made aware of an issue on our upstream provider for XMission customers in Bozeman, Montana. While the cause is investigated, we have redirected traffic to our backup routes, which may cause higher latency. We hope to have this issue resolved with our upstream transport soon, but customers should have a stable connection on this backup route in the interim.

We have received an update regarding the outage in Murray, the incident has been identified as a small fiber cut. Unfortunately, we do not have an ETR at this time however we are hopeful that service will be back online today.

XMission has been alerted to a UTOPIA outage affecting customers in Centerville on Footprint CV004. UTOPIA techs are investigating the issue and will restore services as soon as possible. Cause of outage is fiber cut.

Update as of 4:30PM: UTOPIA has provided us with an update regarding the fiber cut in Payson, and crews are still working on it and it is expected to be resolved later this evening.

A segment of the Lehi City Fiber Network is currently experiencing an outage, technicians have identified a fiber cut that has caused this outage. Unfortunately there is no ETA at this time and these fiber cuts can take upwards of 24 hours to be resolved. We apologize for the inconvenience.

September 11, 2026 at 3:20 PM Crews are on site and actively repairing the damaged fiber. Fiber replacement and splicing activities are underway. At this time, service restoration is estimated between 7:00 PM and 8:00 PM

We have been made aware of an outage impacting XMission Fiber customers in West Haven. No current ETA, we will provide further updates as we receive them.
