Due to a forced Rocky Mtn. Power pole relocation. UTOPIA will be relocating fiber at 1103 S Carterville Rd. Orem UT.

SCOPE OF IMPACT: (9 residential customers)

Customer affected can expect to be down for 2 – 3 hours during this maintenance.

Issues with a core switch has resulted in partial outages in the Clearfield, Layton, and West Point cities. Field technicians are onsite and investigating at the moment.

RESOLVED: Services have been restored. Please restart your router if you are still experiencing issues.

Orem there are two slots down on an Access Distribution Switch. 46 customers impacted (total not just XMission) tech en route. We suspect 20-30min ETA at this time.

RESOLVED: Service is restored. The cabinet lost power and the switches overheated from the lack of AC.

Customer affected can expect to be down for 2 – 3 hours during this maintenance.

Zimbra emergency maintenance: A couple servers in our Zimbra hosting environment have file system issues, impacting about 5% of our hosted mail clients. Mail administrators have mostly restored the system but issue requires additional repairs with reboots. There will be intermittent issues for those mailbox holders until fully resolved. ETA 1-3 hours.

We will performing preventative maintenance on our router servicing our UTOPIA customers. This maintenance is expected to have minimal impact on customer's Internet service; however, should it become necessary to perform a reboot, customers may experience 10-20 minutes of downtime.

To accommodate customer growth on our network, we will be installing an additional line card in our router serving our UTOPIA fiber customers. This maintenance is expected to have little to no impact to our customer's Internet service.

UPDATE resolved

UTOPIA has been alerted to an outage in the WV038 footprint(s) in West Valley, UT. Engineering has been notified. Field Services has also been notified and is in transit to the site. 17 customers are affected. Updates will be provided as we know more information.
