OUTAGE & EMERGENCY MAINTENANCE NOTIFICATION: OR005 START: 9/1/21 10:00 PM END: 9/2/21 8:00 AM A fiber cut in Orem is affecting 57 homes. In order to make repairs, UTOPIA will need to cut a major cable that will take down ~300 more homes during this time in order to resolve the issues

UTOPIA techs have been dispatched and are looking to bring back ~100 customers affected by an outage in Orem. No ETR at this time.

Our network administrator is currently investigating a possible problem with a transit connection to one of our upstream providers, as well as our border routers, that may be affecting some UTOPIA customer's connection speeds.

eero has provided a software fix that allows their routers to function correctly on XMission's network. This fix has been pushed out to all XMission customers on the UTOPIA network. Tonight XMission and UTOPIA will be begin moving those customers off the temporary VLAN back to XMission's full service. We will slowly execute this move over the coming nights in small, manageable volumes. Affected customers may experience a brief outage as their eeros reconnect. If you have an eero and continue to be unable to access the Internet, power cycle the eero, and if that also does not work, alert XMission support. Please note ONLY customers currently using eero routers on an XMission UTOPIA circuit will be impacted.
