XMission is aware of a problem with a VLAN handoff to UTOPIA for about half of our voice traffic. Affected customers may experience a full outage of voice service only. No Internet access is believed to be affected. UPDATE we have identified a problem with a switch that is affecting this traffic and are determining the repair requirements. *UPDATE 4:00 PM we have an active ticket with Juniper support regarding the routing errors. No ETA

Mailbox migration to our newer webmail server is currently under way.

Due to spammers abusing an exploit on this legacy mail server XMission must migrate remaining customers to our newer webmail server immediately rather than more slowly as mentioned in an announcement sent to these customers on January 20th. The migration will commence as soon as some custom bulk migration tools are completed by our staff.

Some customers in Lindon on the UTOPIA network are temporarily without service while a switch is being repaired. Repairs are estimated to be complete within the hour.

UTOPIA DHCP server will have its RAM doubled to 4GB. This will require shutdown and restart of the virtual machine running the server, but should be out of service no longer than 5 minutes. During downtime, new leases will not be assigned.

During the annual UPS preventative maintenance, our transfer switch encountered an error and rejected the load transfer. Our UPS worked as intended but unfortunately was not able to last as long as needed until power could be restored. We are working to restore power to all systems.

UTOPIA appears to have recovered with little indication as to the cause of the outage. If you are still having issues, please reboot your router and contact us if you are still down.

There is a service interruption impacting customers in Orem City. Currently, there are roughly 30 residential customers down. Field Services is being dispatched. No ETR at this time.
