XMission will be performing a series of firmware upgrades on equipment in our network. These firmware upgrades have been recommended by our networking vendor and will provide increased performance and stability. XMission will have a network admin onsite to oversee the maintenance.

The maintenance will occur over the span of three nights, between the hours of 12 AM and 6 AM, on Saturday the 10th, Sunday the 11th, and Monday the 12th. Enterprise customers and UTOPIA customers who use PPPoE can expect no downtime from this maintenance. Residential customers on UTOPIA Fiber, Lehi City Fiber, or Bountiful City Fiber can expect a period of downtime lasting up to 60 minutes during this maintenance window.

We will be installing updates on our Zimbra infrastructure to bring software up to newest versions/patches. Downtime is estimated to be minimal (approximately 5-10 minutes) while services are restarted.

XMission has scheduled maintenance on our Universal Power Supply (UPS) infrastructure. The maintenance will occur over the course of three nights; between the windows of 6 p.m. and 12 a.m. on Monday the 22nd, Tuesday the 23rd, and Wednesday the 24th. No issues are expected. XMission will run off our backup generators to ensure the facility has stable power during the maintenance windows.
