UTOPIA Maintenance in Layton, scheduled 5 years ago

UTOPIA will be upgrading links between LA007 and LA009 to improve capacity. No customer impact is expected.

UTOPIA DHCP server RAM expansion, scheduled 5 years ago

UTOPIA DHCP server will have its RAM doubled to 4GB. This will require shutdown and restart of the virtual machine running the server, but should be out of service no longer than 5 minutes. During downtime, new leases will not be assigned.

System failure during scheduled maintenance.

During the annual UPS preventative maintenance, our transfer switch encountered an error and rejected the load transfer. Our UPS worked as intended but unfortunately was not able to last as long as needed until power could be restored. We are working to restore power to all systems.

UPS Preventative Maintenance, scheduled 5 years ago

XMission will be having our annual UPS preventative maintenance performed after hours to ensure peak performance for our backup power sources. This maintenance includes putting the UPS in bypass and running off of our backup generators. During this maintenance window, we expect to have no problems. The maintenance will be carried out by qualified vendors.

UTOPIA General UTOPIA has recovered.

UTOPIA appears to have recovered with little indication as to the cause of the outage. If you are still having issues, please reboot your router and contact us if you are still down.
