UTOPIA is planning an emergency maintenance window for Friday July 9, 2021. UTOPIA will be retiring a switch in Orem, UT (OR024) that is having a power supply issue. Affected customers will lose all services for approximately 5 minutes while they are migrated to a new switch.

UPDATE The issues with affected mailbox servers have been resolved. Zimbra services now operating back at 100%

Two Zimbra servers experiencing issues impacting about 10% of our hosted mail clients. Mail administrators working to resolve. There will be intermittent issues for those mailbox holders until fully resolved

Engineering has been notified. Field Services has also been notified and is in transit to the site. About 45 customers are affected. Updates will be sent as we know more information. UPDATE: This outage is due to power problems. Service is restored. FSG is continuing to monitor to see if further action is required.

Limited outage affecting West Valley City - RESOLVED

A faulty switch in West Valley City is causing disconnectivity for some business and residential customers in the area. Field technicians have been dispatched by UTOPIA to address the issue.

UTOPIA is planning an emergency maintenance window for Friday June 25, 2021. UTOPIA will be rebooting a switch in the hut OR008 in Orem, UT.

50 total customers are affected and will lose all service for approximately 10 minutes while the switch reboots.

Due to a forced Rocky Mtn. Power pole relocation. UTOPIA will be relocating fiber at 1103 S Carterville Rd. Orem UT.

SCOPE OF IMPACT: (9 residential customers)

Customer affected can expect to be down for 2 – 3 hours during this maintenance.

Issues with a core switch has resulted in partial outages in the Clearfield, Layton, and West Point cities. Field technicians are onsite and investigating at the moment.

RESOLVED: Services have been restored. Please restart your router if you are still experiencing issues.

Orem there are two slots down on an Access Distribution Switch. 46 customers impacted (total not just XMission) tech en route. We suspect 20-30min ETA at this time.

RESOLVED: Service is restored. The cabinet lost power and the switches overheated from the lack of AC.

Zimbra emergency maintenance: A couple servers in our Zimbra hosting environment have file system issues, impacting about 5% of our hosted mail clients. Mail administrators have mostly restored the system but issue requires additional repairs with reboots. There will be intermittent issues for those mailbox holders until fully resolved. ETA 1-3 hours.
