UTOPIA Network Outage Notification for 7/14/20222 - Footprint(s) BR002 DESCRIPTION: UTOPIA has been alerted to an outage in the BR002 footprint(s) in Brigham City, UT. Field Services are on site. SCOPE OF IMPACT: All customers affected will be without service. UPDATE: This outage is due to failed hardware. Field Services are working on resolving the issue. There are 473 residential and 12 Business customers affected. RESOLVED: The outage has been resolved. All services have been restored. XMission will be performing a firmware upgrade on one of our border rotuers this Sunday (07/10) at 3AM. This firmware update will address a memory leak detected on our border router. Precautions will be taken to move traffic gracefully off the border router prior to maintenance, and no disruption to customer service is expected.

Emergency maintenance was required on a network border router - affected traffic was moved to alternate border router at approx 5:30 AM, restoring service, maintenance was then performed, and traffic has since been moved back.
