XMission Scheduled Emergency Maintenance 05/02

Starting 05/01 11:59 PM to 05/02 6:00AM, XMission will be performing emergency maintenance on one of our core routers. Following the advice on our networking vendor, we will be upgrading the firmware on this router to correct an issue affecting its firewall. While no downtime to customer Internet service is expected, customers may expect occasional, sub-second delays in accessing other XMission services during this time window, such as: DNS, email, web hosting, VoIP, and cloud hosting.

Scheduled XMission Network Maintenance, scheduled 3 years ago

On Sunday, May 29th between 3 - 6 AM, XMission will perform a firmware upgrade on one of our backbone network switches. During this maintenance, our Network Admin will shift customer traffic to alternate paths along our network to ensure minimum disruption. Customers might notice brief moments of higher latency as we reroute traffic but otherwise no impact to customer's service is expected.
